How to Make Grandma layered cakes

How to Make Grandma layered cakes

In fact, fillings, in addition to this, can be mass - as a child, we were very fond of them with sweet cottage cheese, pumpkin, green onions and eggs, buckwheat, mixed with fried onions my kids love potatoes precisely, mashed into a puree and fried in butter. I divided into two parts (the second part of the filling so I put a little favorite mushrooms).

The dough for these pastries is prepared quite simply, in a single container to mix two cups flour 0.5 tsp salt 0.5 tsp baking soda (or 1 tsp baking powder). In another container, beat 1 egg, slightly less than half a cup of vegetable oil, 1 ch. L 9% vinegar, half a cup of water.

Gradually pour in the flour and stir the liquid part. Quickly knead and smooth dough (if necessary, fill up the flour until the desired consistency). Cover with foil and remove the dough in the refrigerator for about an hour (by the way, and his grandmother was preparing in advance for our arrival, because the dough can be safely stored in the refrigerator up to 3 days). Divide the dough into two parts, each of them roll out in a very thin layer of high. Close to one edge of the reservoir spread stuffing.

We turn off the reservoir filled to roll. Roll to roll as much as possible dense. The blunt side of a knife, without cutting through thoroughly, divide the roll into equal pieces (as if we envisage cakes) .. We share the roll into equal pieces, a little scrolling as if tightened at the candy wrapper. The ends have pieces, better flip and press down with your finger on the one hand tucks in place, doing well in the center. We spread the pies on a baking sheet at a distance from each other. Lubricate the yolk (Grandma always yolk mixed with 1 tablespoon water) and send in preheated 200 degree oven baked until golden color (in my oven it took 30-40 minutes). Pies out very tender, crispy dough thin, layered and crispy!

Very tasty sauce with sour cream or type Tzatziki (of unsweetened yogurt, grated cucumber, herbs and garlic)!

Try recommend, sure like it! Enjoy everyone!
